Job summary

Akamai seeks a Regional Sales Manager for Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia to drive sustainable revenue growth across Security, Compute and Delivery. You will lead a geographically distributed sales team, acquire new customers, expand existing accounts, and strengthen Akamai's market position in SEA.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual go-to-market plans to attain business results and market leadership.
• Lead Major Account Executives to grow in their territories.
• Develop repeatable sales plays and productivity programs to accelerate velocity and win rates.
• Collaborate with Service Line management on pre-sales strategies to boost velocity.
• Build executive relationships with new and existing customers to drive satisfaction.
• Execute partner and alliance strategies and ensure proper governance.

Develop the Sales Strategy

This exciting opportunity will see you drive sustainable revenue growth across Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. You will acquire new customers, expand existing accounts and strengthen Akamai's market position across Security, Compute and Delivery. You will lead the sales organization to achieve revenue targets, build a reliable pipeline and drive consistent regional execution.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you are part of SEA GTM Leadership team and will be responsible for

• Developing the annual go-to-market plan to attain desired business results and maintain a market-leader position
• Leading a team of Major Account Executives who are responsible for growth in their respective territories
• Developing repeatable sales plays/productivity programs to accelerate sales velocity and win rates
• Working with Service Line management to develop pre-sales technical consulting strategies to enhance sales velocity
• Developing executive level relationships with new and existing customers to quickly build rapport and overall customer satisfaction
• Executing a successful partner and alliance strategy and ensuring it is effectively administered

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have proven experience building, developing and motivating high-performing sales teams, with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
• Demonstrate the ability to lead and manage a geographically distributed sales workforce across multiple countries and cultures.
• Demonstrate excellent track record in enterprise technology sales, including complex sales cycles, strategic account management and engagement with senior customer executives.
• Possess exceptional commercial acumen and experience in territory planning, pipeline management, forecasting, deal strategy and sales performance management.
• Have relevant experience working with leading Cloud/Cloud Security companies and the associated Partner ecosystem.
• Lead Akamai's sales business across Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia, aligning regional strategy and execution with South East Asia and APJ leadership.
