Job summary

Hexagon AB's Portable Metrology division seeks a Regional Sales Director for the ASEAN & Pacific region, with hybrid work and a base in Singapore. Responsibilities

• Define and execute the regional PCMM sales strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Drive sales growth, revenue, order intake, profitability, and market expansion across ASEAN & Pacific.
• Identify growth opportunities, prioritize markets/customers, and lead regional sales initiatives and product launches.
• Lead, coach, and develop the regional Sales organization.
• Set clear objectives, performance expectations, and accountability measures.
• Strengthen sales capabilities, succession planning, and sharing of best practices across countries.
• Lead and develop the regional Sales Application team and technical sales capabilities.
• Ensure strong collaboration between Sales and Sales Application throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Build technical expertise and allocate resources to support key opportunities and customer requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with strategic customers and key stakeholders.
• Support major opportunities and complex customer engagements.
• Drive industry-focused growth strategies and leverage market insights to identify business opportunities.
• Define and optimize sales coverage models across direct and indirect channels.
• Develop distributor and channel partner capabilities to drive growth.
• Monitor channel performance and ensure alignment between direct and indirect sales efforts.
• Ensure strong pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and sales discipline.
• Monitor business performance across countries, products, and customer segments.
• Address performance gaps and provide regular business updates, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
• Provide leadership for major regional PCMM opportunities and strategic accounts.
• Coordinate Sales and Sales Application resources for complex opportunities.
• Support major product demonstrations, technical evaluations, solution discussions, tenders and commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate cross-country opportunities involving regional or multinational customers.
• Engage senior customer stakeholders where regional leadership involvement can support business development and sales closure.
• Guide major commercial proposals, pricing and customer negotiations in accordance with Company policy and delegated authority.
• Maintain appropriate commercial discipline while supporting competitive market positioning.
• Balance revenue growth, profitability and long-term customer development.
• Partner closely with Finance and other relevant functions on major commercial matters.
• Work closely with Service, Country Managers, and other divisions to support customer success. Drive collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations. Support broader regional and organizational initiatives.
