Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) Asset Management seeks a strategic Product Development professional to shape product strategy, drive innovation, and evaluate ideas aligned with market opportunities and business priorities across the region.

You will lead end-to-end product development, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and act as a subject-matter expert on new products and enhanced features for local and regional distribution.

Qualifications

Degree, preferably in Finance or Accountancy.
5+ years in Banking or asset management with sales exposure an advantage.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Understanding of financial markets and themes across equities/fixed income/commodities.
Knowledge of ETF and Unit Trust products.
Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and Bloomberg.

Responsibilities

Lead product strategy with long-term visions and market research.
Collaborate with internal teams to offer comprehensive fund suites for retail and institutional clients in Southeast Asia.
Coordinate with regional Product Development teams for consistent implementation of corporate actions.
Build relationships with distribution teams to align product solutions with market needs.
Gatekeep product governance and secure approvals for new initiatives at local/regional levels.
Draft local offering documents and liaise with legal/regulatory bodies for fund registrations.
