Job summary

OneOcean Group in Singapore seeks an Area Sales Manager to plan and drive sales activities across the designated region, lead a team, and manage key accounts. Travel within the region is required.

You will forecast sales, monitor market activity, and promote the OneOcean portfolio of learning, fleet operations, compliance, voyage planning and performance management solutions to maritime clients.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in MS Office tools.
• Several years’ experience in sales roles.
• Knowledge of the maritime environment and training products.
• Strong work ethic and autonomous work style.
• Open to new technology and changing environments.
• Strong business focus, integrity, and leadership capabilities.
• Teamplayer with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops tactics and strategies to achieve sales goals.
• Maintains healthy order backlog and accurate forecasts.
• Promotes products to existing and prospective customers; manages tenders/RFPs.
• Monitors market activity and reports insights to leadership.
