Job summary

Valiram in Singapore is seeking an HR Business Partner to collaborate with local retail leadership, align HR initiatives with regional goals, and foster a positive workplace culture.

You will lead talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, training, performance management, and HR analytics across multiple stores. The role requires 2+ years in retail HR, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills; travel to stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in HR or related field; degree preferred.
• SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience in retail/multi-location operations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws and compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with local retail managers to identify staffing needs and implement recruitment strategies.
• Provide guidance to resolve employee relations issues and conduct investigations when needed.
• Identify training needs and develop/coordinate training programs for employees and managers.
• Support performance appraisal processes, goal setting and succession planning.
• Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Assist with change management and ensure policy compliance across the region.
