Job summary

Hytech, a leading management consulting firm, is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, controllership, and governance across regional operations in Singapore. The role combines technical accounting with business partnership to support growth and strengthen internal controls.

You will lead monthly closes, manage intercompany accounting, and drive finance transformation while mentoring the regional controllership team and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting, financial reporting, or controllership experience across multi-entity or regional consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, group consolidation and technical accounting.
• Experience strengthening internal controls, improving finance processes and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience leading finance teams and driving transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation or reporting automation.
• Bachelor-level degree in Accounting/Finance; professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA/CA) required; strong English and Chinese proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and annual close across regional entities, oversee group consolidation, statutory reporting, and IFRS compliance.
• Manage technical accounting matters, policies, and intercompany reconciliations with governance oversight.
• Strengthen internal controls and finance processes; drive automation and system improvements for reporting efficiency.
• Partner with Treasury, Tax, Legal and regional teams to support expansion, new entity setup, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop the regional controllership team to foster accountability and continuous improvement.
