Job summary

Hytech, a leading management consulting firm with offices across Asia and beyond, seeks a Group Accounting Technical Senior to oversee IFRS accounting matters, governance, and policy development across global operations. You will partner with Finance, Operations and Compliance to drive robust controls and new product accounting in a fintech-enabled environment.

Role focuses on technical research, policy development, SOX control enhancements, and stakeholder collaboration across jurisdictions,

Qualifications

Experience with IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Proven ability to draft technical accounting memoranda and governance processes.
Excellent written and verbal English; conversational Chinese preferred for regionalStakeholders.

Responsibilities

Technical Accounting & Policy Development: research IFRS issues and develop accounting position papers for complex transactions.
SOX & Internal Controls Excellence: contribute to design, testing and remediation within the governance framework.
Cross-Jurisdiction Financial Governance: partner with Finance, Operations and Compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Business Advisory & Product Support: assess accounting implications of fintech, brokerage and crypto-adjacent products.
Financial Systems & Process Improvement: support migrations and rollout of best practices, data integrity reviews.
Training & Knowledge Sharing: design and deliver finance training and SOP updates.
