Job summary

Onto Innovation in Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, repair and maintain our metrology and related tools across Southeast Asia.

You will install new tools regionally, respond to down-tool situations, document activities, feed back to sales, and contribute to product improvement while traveling about 60% of the time. A engineering degree and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• College/University degree in engineering.
• Excellent interpersonal & customer communication skills.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout Southeast Asia, approximately 60% of the time.
• Ability to work unsupervised yet within a team setting.
• Ability to efficiently utilize all Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain Onto Innovation products, this includes Metrology tools.
• Install new tools within the Southeast Asia region, completing both Engineering and Applications tasks.
• Respond to down tool situations within Southeast Asia and requests for Maintenance when required.
• Provide correct documentation requested and feedback to the US factory as needed.
• Provide feedback to sales team as required, helping provide possible leads for future sales.
• Providing Applications feedback in order to look at constant product improvement.
