Job summary

Onto Innovation in Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer III to install, repair and maintain Metrology and Inspection tools across the Southeast Asia region. You will install new tools, respond to down tool situations, and provide documentation to customers and our US factory.

Travel ~60% and collaboration with sales to identify opportunities are expected. This role requires an engineering degree and 3–5 years of semiconductor field service experience, plus strong communication skills

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field service experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience with equipment fault detection in electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
• College/university degree in engineering.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Southeast Asia, ~60%.

Responsibilities

• Install new tools within the Southeast Asia region.
• Perform installation, repair and maintenance of Onto Innovation products.
• Respond to down tool situations and maintenance requests.
• Provide documentation to customers and feedback to the US factory.
• Offer feedback to sales and contribute to product improvement.
