Job summary

EPSON SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a technically capable individual to join the Regional Tech & solution presales team. The role involves communicating with peers clearly, assisting in the development of cloud-based B2B modules, and supporting product managers from a technical angle to win opportunities.

• Undergraduate degree in computer science, IT or electronics & electrical engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience is desirable.

• Support regional training activities across APAC for new product launches.
• Assist Product Managers from a technical angle to enhance project opportunities.
• Contribute to development of cloud-based applications for a B2B model.
• Prepare documentation and support SDLC processes in solution development.
• Perform due diligence to compare products using internet and third-party sources.

Job description

Summary

The candidate will be part of projects supporting the Regional Tech & solution presales team. Good of ability to communicate with peers clearly and a high degree of note to resolve problems.

• Application Programming knowledge in windows / android /iOS platforms
• Basics of programming with testing of sample application.
• Environment setup for application developed inhouse.
• Execution of test framework in various available platforms.

Key Accountabilities

• Conduct / Assist in regional training activities across APAC for new product launches.
• Support Product Managers from technical angle to enhance the overall project win opportunities
• Support development of application modules for the cloud-based application that constitutes B2B model.
• Prepare necessary documentation and support SDLC process model in solution development.
• Perform due diligence in product analysis to develop comparison chart of various products by getting information from the internet and 3rd party sources.
• Must be a team player maintaining good communication in collaborative working environment
• Assist in administrative tasks for corporate product team for events and customer visits.

Key Job Requirements

Job / Skills Competencies

• Programming in web application, Knowledge on server application configuration
• Python / Java Script / Angular is a plus
• Windows application development is good to have
• Ability to communicate adequately in English with customers and stakeholders
• Ability to understand the product features and specification to map them to customer requirements
• Basic knowledge on printing technologies
• Basic Knowledge on Interfaces
• Working Knowledge of operating system platforms of Windows/ Mac / Linux / android

Critical Work Experience

• Desirable to have a work experience of minimum 2 ~3 years
