Job summary

Maker Lab, based in Singapore, seeks a senior leader to own governance, data security, AI tool compliance, and audit trails for embedded client teams. You will drive policy and security standards across APAC markets and delivery hubs.

You will implement group-wide IT infrastructure security, manage AI tool licensing, and champion data privacy across tools and platforms, ensuring cross-border compliance and security incident response.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in IT, CS, info security, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years’ experience in IT management, information security or data governance across multiple markets.
• Working knowledge of AI tool risk assessment (prompt injection, data leakage, model access controls).
• Experience building group-wide policy implemented across regional or country teams.
• Comfortable serving as governance backbone for a fast-moving, embedded-team model at scale.
• Experience in services, agency, or in-house marketing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own IT infrastructure and security policy group-wide, across all regional markets and delivery hubs.
• Manage enterprise AI tool and enterprise tool licensing, access controls and usage monitoring across all embedded teams.
• Build and maintain the company AI policy, including human-in-the-loop safeguards, workflow audits and tool usage reporting standards, applied consistently across every client account.
• Build and maintain the company’s data privacy policy, ensuring data privacy compliance across all tools and platforms.
• Set data governance standards for country and account teams to implement locally across India, Singapore and other APAC delivery hubs.
• Own group-level compliance across enterprise client relationships, including data residency, cross-border data transfer and client-specific security requirements.
• Partner with the AI Strategy & Implementation Manager to evaluate new AI tools before they enter the tested toolset, maintaining tool-agnostic governance as new tools are added.
• Manage security incidents, as well as access provisioning and revocation, across a distributed, multi-market talent bench.
• Act as the central point of contact for client security and compliance audits across all accounts.
• Maintain and audit data governance and security across all external tools.
