Job summary

Spencer Ogden, Singapore-based, is hiring a Project Director to lead multi-country data centre delivery across Southeast Asia. You will own the regional delivery across campuses, manage contractors, drive design reviews, and ensure safety, quality, and ESG standards.

This is a greenfield-to-stabilised programme with high visibility in the region. The role requires 15+ years in data centre or heavy industrial construction, with 3–5 years in senior leadership, and a Chartered engineer would be

Qualifications

15+ years in data centre, mission‑critical or heavy industrial construction.
3–5 years in senior project leadership (Project Director / Construction Director / VP / SVP).
Fluent in hyperscale design concepts and commissioning regimes.

Responsibilities

Own the regional delivery programme across multiple campuses, setting master schedules, cost plans and risk registers.
Lead and coordinate PMC, main contractors, MEP specialists and commissioning agents; drive design management and value engineering.
Manage interfaces with utilities and authorities to ensure programme certainty for energisation and IT load commissioning.
Establish governance for cost, change, claims and procurement; run tender processes and negotiate contracts.
Build and mentor a high‑performing regional project team; embed safety, quality and ESG standards.
Partner with finance, legal and operations on project financing milestones and readiness.
