Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a seasoned engineer to lead the design development and execution of engineering systems for large-scale data centre projects in Singapore. You will coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to plan, develop, and standardize engineering packages and specifications, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years in the field, with a post-graduate degree in engineering or project/construction

Qualifications

• Technical candidate with at least 10 years’ experience in the field.
• Post-graduate degree in engineering or project/construction management is a big plus.
• Experience in managing multiple parties, vendors, stakeholders and priorities with various milestones.
• Detail oriented and organized in project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and coordinate with other teams for the design development of engineering systems in large scale data centre construction projects.
• Plan, develop, standardize engineering packages and specifications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide updates and trackers of issues and mitigations; conduct technical reviews of design, construction and operation of systems.
• Suggest improvements of engineering systems in terms of technology, cost, time; coordinate with Third Parties on design packages before bidding and construction.
• Coordinate with Client and Third Parties’ QA/QC and installation checks for successful product delivery per design standards.
• Participate in commissioning and witness commissioning of engineering systems and propose follow-up actions.
• Review and update engineering documentation and as-built documentation for acceptance and handover.
