Job summary

Nxera is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead regional EHS governance for data centre construction projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations. The role provides independent oversight of safety performance, contractor compliance, and incident management across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Management or related discipline.
• Preferred certifications include WSH Officer/Manager, NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor, CSP, OSHA or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of construction safety experience, including at least 5 years in data centre or mission-critical infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional EHS governance for data centre construction projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and governance reviews across regional projects; monitor high-risk activities.
• Review incident investigations and root cause analyses; ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare EHS dashboards and reports; participate in governance meetings; drive continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.
