Job summary

Nxera is seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager to drive regional DC projects from initiation through closeout. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, translate requirements into deliverables, and manage budgets and schedules to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in project or construction management, a relevant engineering/PM degree, and strong leadership and communication skills. Occasional regional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in project management or construction management, with data center projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or Architecture.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage new Data Center project execution regionally (green/brown field).
• Support country project lead and oversee all project lifecycle phases.
• Develop project master program, project charter and set up processes.
• Source specialists and experts for project delivery teams.
• Translate business requirements into executable deliverables.
• Prepare budgets and manage cashflow within approved funding.
• Lead tendering and administration processes.
• Report progress and expenditure to management in a timely, accurate manner.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and risk management.
• Review drawings and contribute to schedule development for efficient delivery.
• Travel regionally 20–25% as needed.
