Job summary

Nxera in Singapore seeks an experienced EHS leader to govern regional construction safety for data centre projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations. You will lead audits, incident investigations, and contractor oversight across APAC, driving Design for Safety, environmental compliance and continuous improvement while collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Management or related.
Certifications include WSH Officer/Manager, NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor, CSP, OSHA or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of construction safety experience, including at least 5 years in data centre or mission‑critical infrastructure projects.
Experience managing EPC/general contractors, safety consultants and multi‑country projects within APAC.
Proven experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis and contractor performance management.
Strong knowledge of construction safety, risk management, environmental compliance and Design for Safety.
Strong leadership, communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive and travel willingness across the region.

Responsibilities

Lead regional EHS governance for data centre construction projects.
Ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations.
Review safety documents such as risk assessments and method statements.
Conduct compliance reviews and track corrective actions to closure.
Oversee contractor EHS capability and performance across APAC.
Drive safety improvement initiatives with project teams.
Prepare EHS dashboards and reports for monthly governance.
Monitor environmental requirements including noise, dust, waste, water discharge and spill prevention.
Provide safety oversight for critical works (energisation, testing, commissioning).
Review incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Travel across APAC regional projects as required.
