Job summary

DHL GLOBAL FORWARDING (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior account development professional to manage customer engagement for an assigned portfolio and drive profitable growth through business development strategies.

You will support regional initiatives and collaborate with internal teams to deliver end-to-end logistics solutions. The role requires extensive experience in freight forwarding and logistics, with a track record in major key accounts and a strong tech sector background

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
Minimum 5years of experience managing major key accounts at a regional and/or global level.
Relevant experience in the Technology sector, particularly in semiconductor and data center logistics, will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop Customer Account Plans and Win Plans adaptable to customer needs and business fit.
Coordinate with Product, KAMs, Bid Management team to align account/win plans for RFIs / RFQs.
Engage internal stakeholders by sharing customer buying behaviours and competitor intelligence.
Identify and develop relationships with customer contacts including decision makers, coaches, gatekeepers, inferencers.
Collaborate with other DHL divisions for end-to-end supply chain solution design or cross-BU collaboration.
Work with countries and internal departments to satisfy customers’ needs and ensure service is provided smoothly.
Coach and work with virtual teams (KAMs, OKAMs/PMs) and maintain regular alignment.
