Job summary

Pacific International Lines (PIL) is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to drive regional growth and strategic initiatives. You will partner with the Regional Head to identify opportunities, coordinate cross‑functional initiatives, and prepare executive communications for senior leadership.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen, and the ability to work across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in administration, Business, or related discipline (master would be considered a plus)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial, Strategy, Consulting, or similar roles
• Experience in shipping, logistics, or maritime industries is a strong plus
• Prior exposure to executive support, PMO, or Chief of Staff–type activities is highly valued

Responsibilities

• Identify and support the development of new business opportunities across the region.
• Assist in building and maintaining relationships with customers, partners, and key industry stakeholders.
• Participate in commercial discussions, proposal preparation, and negotiation support.
• Support pipeline development and follow-up on leads, opportunities, and commercial commitments.
• Contribute to the launch of new partnerships, trade lanes, or commercial initiatives.
