Job summary

The Lubrizol Corporation in Singapore is seeking an APAC SEA LLS Technical Service Senior Scientist to provide regional technical service and support the Beauty & Home & Oral business across Southeast Asia.

You will lead customer projects, develop formulations, troubleshoot, train customers, and collaborate with regional teams to drive innovation and growth. Travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 15+ years or MS/PhD with 10+ years in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Cosmetic Science.
• Experience in Beauty or Specialty Chemicals with R&D/formulation roles; Home Care and Oral Care a plus.
• Strong technical expertise in Beauty formulation development and ingredient technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Effective project management and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with the commercial team to prioritize resources and support strategic projects and opportunities.
• Lead technical engagements with key customers, providing formulation expertise and development solutions.
• Develop broad knowledge across Beauty, Home, and Oral segments.
• Design and interpret laboratory studies and formulation development to meet objectives.
• Deliver technical presentations, trainings, and workshops to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with regional/global teams to implement programs and accelerate execution.
• Monitor industry trends and market developments to identify growth opportunities.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and provide insights to internal teams.
• Build relationships with regional technical teams for knowledge sharing.
• Support new product launches, customer trials, and commercialization activities.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and updates.
