Job summary

RMA Contracts Pte Ltd in Singapore is hiring for an electrical maintenance technician to perform routine, preventive and corrective work on instruments and electrical equipment. The role includes troubleshooting UPS, switchgears and LV/HV panels, plus updating schematics and drawings.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or NITEC in engineering with at least 3 years in oil/refinery environments and a strong analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in an engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years relevant experience in an oil refinery/petrochemical plant, preferably with EMA license.
• Candidates without relevant experience may be considered for entry-level positions.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of instrument, analyser and electrical equipment & system, e.g. control valve, transmitters, switchgear control, motors, GC, boiling point, freeze point and flash point analyser, etc.
• Troubleshoot critical electrical equipments such as UPS, DC Charger, LV/HV switchgears
• Execute assembly, wiring and termination works on LV/HV switchboard
• Read and interpret electrical single line and schematics diagram
• Update and maintain electrical drawing documentation
• Ensure that all Electrical Safety, HSE and Safe Work Procedure (SWP) are followed
