Job summary

PERSOL is seeking an Electrical/Instrumentation Technician in Singapore to perform routine and corrective maintenance on utility systems and equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues, calibrate instruments, and interpret diagrams to support engineering projects.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronic or equivalent, with experience in GMP/ISO environments and 12-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in reading and interpreting electrical and instrumentation diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
• Calibrating and testing instruments for accurate readings and functionality.
• Familiar with cGMP, ISO 9001/14001 & OSHA18001 environments.

Job description

Job scope:

• Perform routine operation, routine planned maintenance, and ad-hoc corrective maintenance on utility systems and facilities. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation issues and identifying the root cause of problems.
• Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Calibrating and testing instruments to ensure accurate readings and functionality.
• Reading and interpreting electrical and instrumentation diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Collaborating with engineers and other team members to design and implement electrical and instrumentation projects.
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical systems and hazardous materials.
• Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.

• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of work areas.
• Responsible for following safe working procedures and principles introduced at the workplace.
• Execute all duties faithfully and responsibly in accordance to written procedures and to immediately report all observations of GMP non-conformances.
• To take ownership in gaining knowledge and demonstrating the expected Environmental protection, Health and Safety attitude and behavior at the workplace.
• Staying updated with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Be knowledgeable with applicable Company Quality Standards, procedures and guidelines. To ensure continuous compliance to GMP in designated areas of responsibilities and to immediately report all observations of GMP non-conformances.

Job requirement:

• GCE Level, Technical qualifications, Diploma in Electrical /Mechantronic / or equivalent.
• Preferably relevant working experience in the operation and maintenance of Pharmaceutical / Food / Petrochemical / Wafer / Semiconductor industry.

• Experience in cGMP, ISO 9001/14001 & OSHA18001environment.
• Comfortable with 12 hours rotating shifts.
