Job description

We're looking for a Recruitment Officer to support our hiring activities, sourcing and screening candidates, managing pipelines, and coordinating interviews across the business. This role suits someone who enjoys talking to people, staying organised across multiple roles at once, and matching the right candidate to the right job. You'll also get exposure to business development, identifying potential clients and understanding their hiring needs.

What You'll Do

• Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, databases, and other channels; screen resumes and conduct initial phone/video interviews.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future vacancies; keep candidates updated throughout the process.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers and work with them to understand job requirements and hiring priorities.
• Post and manage job ads across recruitment platforms; maintain accurate candidate records.
• Support outreach to potential clients and help match their hiring needs to suitable recruitment solutions.
• Track recruitment activity, candidate progress, and hiring outcomes against placement targets.

Additional Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue offer letters and employment contracts.
• Coordinate onboarding for new hires (documentation, orientation scheduling).
• Maintain accurate employee/recruitment files and records.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field (fresh grads welcome).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable messaging candidates and conducting interviews.
• Good organisational skills (able to manage multiple candidates and vacancies at once).
• Detail-oriented, able to work independently, and follow through on tasks.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, email, LinkedIn or similar platforms).
• Experience in recruitment, sales, or customer service; familiarity with job portals (SEEK, Indeed, LinkedIn).
