Job summary

Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa in Singapore is seeking a Reception Manager to lead daily Front Desk operations, ensure seamless guest journeys, and uphold the resort's service standards. You will mentor the Front Office team, monitor arrivals and VIP arrangements, and drive continuous service improvements.

We prefer experience with OPMS and hotel front office systems, plus a background in hotel management education.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of Rooms and Front Desk operations in a hotel or resort.
• Experience using OPMS and related hotel front office systems.
• Educational background related to hotel management.
• Experience in managing emergency response and crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily Front Desk operations to ensure efficient and smooth service delivery.
• Drive guest experience improvements by monitoring arrivals, departures, room allocations, and VIP arrangements.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate the Front Office team to maintain high performance and up-to-date knowledge of hotel products and services.
• Communicate operational updates and hotel offerings with colleagues to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery to maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Foster collaboration across departments to ensure consistent and excellent service delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
