Job summary

Land Transport Authority’s Singapore Rail Academy (SGRA) seeks a Manager, Standard & Curriculum to lead harmonisation and development of training standards, competency and curricula for the O&M workforce. You will coordinate with rail operators SMRT/SBS Transit, LTA divisions and external experts to align with SFw and ConOps updates.

You will also drive quality assurance, course design and collaboration with higher learning institutes to ensure consistent, high-quality training across the rail

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of working experience, preferably in training for rail engineering, operations and maintenance.
• Knowledge in engineering.
• Well-grounded in the theory and practice of learning and development, including WSQ and Skills Framework (SFw).
• ACTA certification, experience in learning & development is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills, ability to develop new plans and use technology in learning.
• Team player and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and harmonise training standards, competency and curricula frameworks with rail operators and LTA divisions.
• Develop common training courses including programme design, content development and periodic reviews.
• Quality assurance and audits on curriculum, process and compliance.
• Explore the use of new pedagogy and technology for effective learning.
• Collaborate with institutes of higher learning for CET courses.
• Benchmark against industry and international best practices.
• Maintain relationships with SMEs locally and globally for talks and training.
