Job summary

GovTech’s Singapore Rail Academy (SGRA) seeks a Manager, Standard & Curriculum to lead harmonisation and upkeep of training standards, competency and curricula, and to develop common courses with rail operators and LTA divisions. You will ensure quality assurance and align with public transport professional standards, ConOps and SFw-PT to uplift Singapore’s rail workforce.

You will collaborate with SME experts locally and globally, drive ongoing course reviews, and explore innovative pedagogy

Qualifications

At least 5 years of working experience in training for rail engineering, operations and maintenance.
Knowledge in engineering.
Well-grounded in learning and development theory and practice (WSQ, SFw).
ACTA certification is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills; ability to develop new plans and use technology in learning.

Responsibilities

Plan and harmonise training standards, competency and curricula frameworks.
Develop common training courses including design, content development and reviews.
Plan quality assurance and manage audits on curriculum, process and compliance.
Explore new pedagogy and technology for effective learning.
Coordinate CET courses with institutes of higher learning.
Benchmark against industry and international best practices.
Maintain relationships with SMEs locally and globally; source experts for talks and training.
