Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Singapore invites applications for the role of Deputy / Assistant Manager, Rail Regulation. Join the Rail Regulation Division to oversee rail operators’ licences, codes of practice and safety while ensuring safe, reliable MRT and LRT services for commuters.

You will monitor performance, conduct regulatory investigations, audits and emergency exercises, and engage multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Engineering.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to engage and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, meticulous and resourceful.
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in risk assessments, emergency planning, maintenance and operation planning.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

• Monitor rail operators' performance in operation, maintenance and safety.
• Conduct regulatory investigations on rail incidents; audits and inspections.
• Review regulatory submissions and participate in emergency exercises and service impact analyses.
