Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Singapore seeks a Senior/Assistant Engineer to regulate development and building works within railway protection zones and road safety zones to safeguard rapid transit systems and public streets.

You will review designs, conduct risk assessments, evaluate construction methods and instrumentation data, and support site inspections to ensure compliance with approved statements and technical requirements; collaboration with developers, consultants and contractors

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Analytical, self-motivated and able to multi-task
• Strong initiative with desire to develop professional skills
• Independent worker who is also a strong team player with good communication
• Proactive problem-solver with leadership and interpersonal skills
• Experience in civil engineering design and supervision is an advantage
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Regulate development and building works within railway protection zones and road safety zones
• Review designs of temporary and permanent works affecting rail and roads
• Conduct engineering risk assessments and evaluate construction methodologies and instrumentation data
• Support site inspections to ensure construction complies with approved method statements and technical requirements
• Coordinate with developers, consultants, contractors and LTA teams
