Job summary

WSH EXPERTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Rail Operations Associate to support the safe and efficient movement of trains and personnel.

You will perform shunting duties, conduct inspections and follow the operations controller's instructions to ensure smooth daily operations. The role requires reading and writing in English, willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and public holidays, and the ability to respond during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum NTC 2/3, GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.
• Railway/vehicle-operation/shunting or construction experience preferred.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Able to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Able to perform overtime and respond during emergencies.
• Able to follow operational instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate engineering trains and railway vehicles safely.
• Perform shunting duties and direct rail-vehicle movements.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and report defects.
• Follow instructions issued by the operations controller.
• Coordinate with train personnel, station supervisors and ground shunters.
• Comply with approved operational and safety procedures.
• Maintain train-movement, equipment and operational records.
• Respond to incidents and participate in recovery operations.
• Perform duties in tunnels, depots, tracks and other railway environments.
• Assist with OJT and other operational duties when assigned.
