Job summary

WSH EXPERTS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced professional to control and coordinate train movements within designated areas. You will issue instructions to supervisors and shunters, monitor movements, and maintain precise records to ensure adherence to procedures and safety requirements.

The role requires strong English communication, the ability to make timely decisions, and experience in railway or related fields. A rotating shift pattern including nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma in an engineering discipline, GCE A‑Level or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum five years of relevant working experience.
• Railway, control-room, transport or construction experience is preferred.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to manage multiple communications and make timely decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational recordkeeping.
• Able to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Must pass the required training, competency assessments and OJT.

Responsibilities

• Control and coordinate works train movements within assigned areas.
• Issue operational instructions to supervisors, operators and shunters.
• Monitor track access, train movements and operational activities.
• Maintain accurate communication, movement and operational records.
• Ensure train movements comply with approved procedures and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with train personnel, site teams and work-party representatives.
• Respond to incidents and implement operational recovery measures.
• Provide timely operational updates to management.
• Perform rotating shift duties based on operational requirements.
