Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or GCE A-Levels with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge and experience in Works Train operations and railway safety requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to prepare weekly operational reports.
• Able to conduct safety briefings related to Works Train operations.
• Able to work independently and undertake overtime as required.
• Able to lead WTSS and WTO teams effectively and manage incidents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the overall Works Train operations and related site activities.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, train movements, work schedules, and resources.
• Ensure Works Train and track-access activities are safe, efficient and compliant.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, project teams and stakeholders for smooth operations.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Lead and manage incidents, emergencies, and recovery measures.
• Supervise performance, discipline, and activities of the Works Train operations team.
• Lead WTSS and WTO teams and oversee their activities.
• Monitor operations and prepare regular reports for the Officer-in-Charge.
• Provide leadership to ensure effective and safe Works Train operations.
