Job summary

SINGAPORE ONE RAIL PTE. LTD. is seeking an Operations Controller to monitor train movements on the mainline and depot, ensuring punctual and safe service for passengers.

The role requires coordinating OCC-like systems, reporting incidents, and delivering accurate information to the public. Candidates should have a degree or diploma and at least 5 years in an operations control setting, be prepared for night shifts, weekends, and holidays, and be able to operate computer-based control systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline or Diploma with minimum 5 years' working experience in an OCC environment.
• Fresh Graduates may apply.
• Willing to perform shift work, including night shift, weekends and Public Holidays.
• Ability to identify colours.
• Able to operate computer-based control systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control train operations on mainline and depot, ensuring service punctuality and safety.
• Manage incidents, disruptions, and emergencies; plan and execute service recovery actions.
• Coordinate internal departments and external emergency services during incidents.
• Authorize and control track access activities during traffic and non-traffic hours.
• Manage train movements, depot shunting, train testing, and dispatch/return of trains.
• Provide timely and accurate service information and public announcements to passengers.
• Monitor passenger conditions via OCC systems and respond to customer assistance needs.
• Prepare operational reports, service analyses, and recommendations for service improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, procedures, and Safety Management System.
• Mentor and train Operations Control Centre / Depot Control Centre staff.
• Maintain operational records, documentation, and housekeeping standards.
