Job summary

Abbott in Singapore is seeking an Operation Specialist (R&D) to support pilot plant operations, process development, and GMP compliance in a regulated environment.

You will lead change control, perform data analytics, assist audits, and contribute to scale-up and product commercialization with cross-functional teams in Tuas.

A Mechanical, Chemical Process, or Food Technology background with 2+ years' experience and MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Process Technology, or Food Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of related operational/technical experience in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations to ensure GMP compliance and audit readiness.
• Lead and maintain the APP GMP program and related documentation.
• Participate in risk assessments and develop/maintain SOPs for equipment and processes.
• Assist investigations of safety and quality events and implement CAPA.
• Analyze process data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Support pilot plant trials, scale-up activities, and TRB-related formulation projects.
