Qualifications

• Credentials in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in mechanical design, machine automation, or related areas.
• Experience designing mechanical systems, machine components, medical devices and automation solutions, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO 13485).
• Knowledge of automation technologies, including PLC programming, robotics, and control systems.
• Familiarity or experience in additive manufacturing, materials science, or 3D printing is a valuable advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee design and development of automation machines and automation systems, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and safety.
• Provide expert consultation and technical guidance in automation design, and support various projects and initiatives.
• Analyze technology trends, conducting feasibility studies, and proposing innovative solutions to enhance machine design and automation processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate automation system into complete production process, considering process flow, controls, electronics, and software.
• Initiating and managing project proposals for new products or new customer enquiry.
• Leading various programs for the organization, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational objectives.

• Expertise in designing mechanical systems, machine components, medical devices and automation solutions, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO 13485, etc).
• Knowledge of automation technologies, including PLC programming, robotics, and control systems.
• Familiarity or experience in additive manufacturing, materials science, or 3D printing is considered a valuable advantage.
