Job summary

Sunningdale Tech Ltd in Singapore is seeking a skilled Mold Design Engineer to create plastic injection molds and develop 3D/2D mold designs using NX12. The role involves DFM preparation and close collaboration with CAM and manufacturing teams to meet customer specifications.

You will apply Moldflow MPI or Moldex 3D to optimize parts and assemblies, with strong emphasis on analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Strong CAD skills with Unigraphics NX12 and mold design knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Moldflow MPI or Moldex 3D is encouraged.
• Proactive, analytical thinker with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Designing of plastic injection molds as per customer requirements & specifications
• DFM preparation according to customer specifications
• Develop 3D & 2D solid mold designs through UG software NX12 and above
• Develop and design engineered plastic parts, insert molded parts and assemblies
• Work closely with CAM and MFG department to meet customer requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge in CAD & Unigraphics NX12
• Hands-on experience in Mold Design& Moldflow MPI / Moldex 3D
• Proactive & deep innovative /analytical
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work across functions.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, plastics injection moulding, or automation projects will be advantageous.
