Job summary

Sunningdale Tech Ltd is seeking an experienced professional to lead the design and development of automation machines and systems in our precision plastics division. You will ensure top performance, efficiency and safety across projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into the entire production process.

• 2 years of professional experience in mechanical design or machine automation.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Familiarity with ISO13485 and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee design and development of automation machines and automation systems, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and safety.
• Provide expert consultation and technical guidance in automation design, and support various projects and initiatives.
• Analyze technology trends, conducting feasibility studies, and proposing innovative solutions to enhance machine design and automation processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate automation system into complete production process, considering aspects such as process flow, controls, electronics, and software.
• Initiating and managing project proposals for new products or new customer enquiry.
• Leading various programs for the organization, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Suitable credentials in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design or an equivalent field.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mechanical - design, machine automation, or related areas.
  Proficiency in utilizing software for mechanical design (e.g., SolidWorks, CREOor NX)
• Expertise in designing mechanicalsystems, machine components, medical devices and automation solutions, ensuringefficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO13485, etc).
• Knowledge of automation technologies, including PLC programming, robotics, and control systems.
• Familiarity or experience in additive manufacturing, materials science, or 3D printing is considered a valuable advantage.
