Job summary

SMX Circular Economy Platform PTE. LTD. seeks a technically oriented professional to support development and implementation of innovative marking solutions across materials, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency.

You will lead lab operations, manage equipment, coordinate tests and pilots with external facilities, and document results for internal reviews and client presentations. You will assist in planning technology implementations for clients, act as a technical liaison, and collaborate

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of marking solutions across materials.
• Oversee R&D experiments ensuring project requirements and standards.
• Analyze test results and prepare technical reports.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to develop POCs and prototypes that showcase the technology's application.

Job description

Technical Development:

• Support the development and implementation of new marking solutions, including formulation and application of markers/codes in various materials, compatible and integrable to client’s process & specifications – that is scalable & cost efficient;
• Conduct and oversee R&D experiments and trials, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards;
• Analyze test results and provide detailed technical reports;
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) and prototypes that showcase the technology's application.

Lab & Testing Management:

• Manage day-to-day lab operations, including equipment maintenance, procurement of materials/chemicals, and inventory management;
• Coordinate testing schedules and oversee the execution of tests and pilots both internally and with external testing facilities;
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all testing activities, results, and processes for internal reviews and external presentations;

Client Technology Implementation:

• Assist in the planning and execution of technology implementation projects for clients, ensuring alignment with project timelines and client requirements;
• Act as a technical liaison between the company and clients, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution;
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, explaining technical concepts and solutions in a clear and concise manner;

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Product Development, and Engineering, to ensure successful project execution;
• Monitor project progress and address any technical challenges that may arise;
• Provide regular updates and feedback to the Head of Technology & Commercialization on project status, risks, and potential areas for improvement.
