Job summary

GRC Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking a diligent professional to manage procurement and contract processes for construction projects in Singapore.

Responsibilities include preparing RFQs, sourcing and negotiating with subcontractors and vendors, issuing RFQ documents, and finalizing commercial terms. The role requires degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in contractual terms within the construction industry.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying is required.
• 3 years of relevant experience in handling contractual terms & conditions in construction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present information and respond to questions from managers/clients.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Tender Documents for RFQ.
• Source subcontractors and vendors.
• Issue RFQ documents.
• Negotiate and clarify with subcontractors and vendors.
• Compare and analyze quotations and proposals (TBE/CBE).
• Tabulate costs and provide estimations for pricing.
• Measure quantities for RFQ (indicative to subcontractors).
• Prepare Commercial Terms.
• Finalize contractual requirements with subcontractors and vendors.
• Issue Letters of Award and Purchase Orders.
• Update project budget and procurement status.
• Provide payment responses to subcontractors and payment claims to consultants.
• Liaise with subcontractors/consultants/clients for payment-claim matters.
• Update claim summary and expenditures to PM for monthly progress reports.
