Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in QA-related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in tenders/costing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Gebiz Tender portal is advantageous.
• Experience with carpentry costing and interior design projects is advantageous.
• ID contractor experience preferred.
• Ability to work under tight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Seek tender opportunities and attend site briefings before tendering projects.
• Prepare cost analysis based on drawings and materials required.
• Obtain sub-contractor quotations for various trades.
• Prepare tender submissions, including bills of quantities, and discuss pricing with Senior QS.
• Prepare final submissions and follow up with tender questionnaire replies and interviews.
• Monitor progress and liaise with vendors.
• Control all stages of projects within predetermined budget and expenditure.
• Attend site meetings and submit progress claims and variation orders.
• Prepare final accounts and monitor project progress.

About the role

This role involves managing tender opportunities and cost analysis for construction projects. You will prepare tender submissions, obtain sub-contractor quotations, and liaise with senior staff on pricing. The position requires monitoring project progress, controlling budgets, attending site meetings, and managing progress claims and final accounts. About you

• Diploma or Degree holder in QA course
• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience
• Highly self-motivated and independent with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Gebiz Tender portal (advantageous)
• Knowledge of carpentry costing works (advantageous)
• Knowledge of interior design works including government, commercial and retail projects (advantageous)
• ID contractor experience preferred
• Able to work under tight schedule and pressure
