Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support both project and tender activities across Singapore.

The role involves budgeting, cost control, and analysing contracts to ensure profitable delivery, with emphasis on accurate cost advice and timely updates. Candidates should hold a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, have 2–3 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in QS software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Min. 2-3 years of working experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and tender procedures.
• Proficiency in QS software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Quantity Surveyor (Project QS / Tender QS)

Location: Across SG

Salary Range: Basic up to $6k

Key Responsibilities:

Project QS:

• Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow.
• Evaluate and certify progress claims, variations, and final accounts for contractors and suppliers.
• Conduct cost analysis, risk assessments, and value engineering to optimize project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and manage disputes effectively.
• Liaise with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide accurate cost advice and updates.

Tender QS:

• Review tender documents and prepare competitive tender submissions, including Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and schedules to develop cost estimates.
• Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with the business development and project teams to ensure tender compliance and alignment.
• Identify and mitigate tender risks to maximize project profitability.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Min. 2-3 years of working experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and tender procedures.
• Proficiency in QS software and Microsoft Office.
