Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a professional to manage procurement and contract-related tasks on construction projects in Singapore. The role involves evaluating quotations, sourcing materials, tracking stock and deliveries, and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities include monitoring variation works, preparing progress valuations, reviewing claims, interpreting site instructions, and reporting on financial status up to final account closure.

Responsibilities

• Identify specified or equivalent materials
• Study pre-contract quotations and obtain new quotations for works
• Check availability of stock of materials and their delivery time
• Check/sourcing of quotations, clarify, and assist in negotiation with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Reconcile quantities in contract and those claimed by sub-contractors and suppliers
• Monitor, measure, and price variation works
• Prepare periodic progress valuations
• Check progress claims submitted by sub-contractors
• Study all site instructions issued and advise Project Manager of time and cost implications
• Monitor the expenses of the project and advise the Project Manager on the financial status
• Brief site staff on procedure of recording and confirming oral instructions
• Closing of final account
