Job summary

QIDONGJINHUA CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor to manage claims, variations, budgets, and final accounts, and to prepare tender documents for pre and post tender stages.

You will conduct cost estimation, take-offs, and contract administration for RC and Wet Trade projects. The role requires independent work, timely submissions, and strong communication with Main Contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Preferably with working experiences in HDB projects.
• Relevant experience in Singapore construction industry.
• Experience in RC and Wet Trade projects preferred.
• Knowledge of costing, tendering, and contract administration.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparation and timely submission of claims, variation orders, budget & cost control and settlement of final account.
• Documents preparation for sourcing of quotations for both pre and post tender stages
• Preparation of tender evaluation, conduct negotiation with subcontractors & suppliers
• To ensure a timely closure of all main contract
• Quantity take off, cost estimate, contract administrations and support in tender exercise
• Liaise with Maincontractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Attend site meetings and handle contractual issues
• To attend progress meetings, technical meetings, material submission meetings and etc to capture all variation claims and potential variation works and time implication.
