Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of building & construction work.
• Strong financial and numeracy management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Take off quantities, pricing, inking, and calling for sub-contractor quotes for tenders and variations.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Work out budgets for projects and monitor costs, and sub-contractor progressive claims and variation orders.
• Prepare updated schedule of rates for itemized elements and inform management.
• Assist in tender analysis and agreement of the contract sum.
• Show detailed knowledge of interior and construction practices.
• Demonstrate negotiating and team-working skills.
