Job summary

RECRUITFLASH PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost analyses and take-offs for diverse construction projects.

You will obtain quotations, negotiate with subcontractors, measure quantities, and manage variation orders, final accounts, and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. The role requires a building-related degree or diploma and at least 3 years’ experience in main-construction companies, with a strong grounding in contracts and procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Building or its equivalent.
• 3+ years experience as QS in main-construction companies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost comparison.
• Obtain quotations, liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers, and negotiate terms.
• Measure quantities and take-offs for projects.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of construction and engineering principles.
• Proficiency in cost estimation and quantity take-off techniques.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Analytical skills to evaluate and manage project costs.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cost calculations and reporting.
