Job summary

RECRUITFLASH PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a capable QS professional with 1 year of civil/ QS experience. The role focuses on cost comparison, quotations, and negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers, plus quantity takeoff and final accounts.

You will analyze project costs, prepare variation orders, claims and payments, and ensure accuracy through strong understanding of construction principles, contracts, and procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in QS/Civil Engineering/Building/Construction Management
• 1 year of relevant experience in Civil Engineering or QS consultancy
• Good pay and bonus are offered as part of the package

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost comparisons
• Obtain quotations, liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Measure quantities and perform takeoffs
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts and sub-contractor payments
• Demonstrate strong understanding of construction and engineering principles
• Utilize cost estimation and quantity takeoff techniques
• Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
• Analyze and manage project costs with attention to detail
