Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. seeks a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Singapore East. The role supports project cost management, contracts and commercial activities across ongoing construction projects.

You will coordinate with project teams, prepare quantity survey documentation and assist with cost controls, budgets and procurement processes to ensure financial performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction costs, materials, contracts and relevant contract law.
• Good understanding of cost control, budgeting and project financial management.
• Good project coordination and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in coordinating activities and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare cost estimates covering materials, labour and project timelines.
• Perform cost analysis for construction, repair and maintenance works to support effective budget planning.
• Prepare contract documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BQ), in coordination with project stakeholders.
• Prepare, evaluate and negotiate tender and contract costs to support project procurement.
• Monitor design and project changes and update cost projections accordingly.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and variations throughout the construction process.
• Advise internal and external stakeholders on contractual matters, risks and compliance requirements.
• Manage contractual claims, variations and potential disputes to protect project interests.
• Ensure project activities comply with relevant contractual, regulatory, health and safety requirements.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties when required.
