Job summary

RRecruiter is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to review tender drawings and project documents, perform quantity take-offs for steel and related materials, and prepare Bills of Quantities, material schedules, and cost estimates. You will coordinate with Sales, Technical, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure accurate quantities, pricing, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or related field.
• Ability to read architectural, structural and construction drawings.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, AutoCAD and quantity take-off is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review tender drawings, project documents and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Carry out quantity take-off for steel, lintels, accessories and related materials.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), material schedules, cost estimates and quotations.
• Coordinate with the Sales and Technical Teams to ensure accurate quantities, specifications and pricing.
• Monitor project quantities, material usage, fabrication and delivery against approved orders.
• Review customer Purchase Orders (PO), prepare Requisition Orders (RO) and check order details.
• Identify additional works, quantity changes and variations, and prepare the necessary cost calculations.
• Coordinate with Production, Logistics and Site Teams to ensure smooth project execution and material planning.
• Maintain proper records and reports on project quantities, quotations, costing and material status.
• Build good relationships with customers and business associates, and perform other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
• Have experience in construction or steel-related industries is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand architectural, structural and construction drawings.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD and quantity take-off is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, time management and problem-solving skills.
