Job summary

TANG'S ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support quantity takeoffs for building works and prepare cost-related tender documents. You will negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors and manage project documentation throughout subcontract, VO, interim valuations and final accounts.

Candidate should be able to work independently, under pressure, and be well organized; advanced AutoCAD skills are required, and MS Projects knowledge is aPlus.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building/Construction/Civil Engineering.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Proactive and well organized.
• Advanced AutoCad knowledge is required.
• MS Projects knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Taking off of quantities for building works.
• Prepare BQ, tender documents, cost comparison for tender project including sourcing and negotiating price with suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Project administration and documentation including sub-contracts, variation orders, interim valuations and final accounts.
• Handle ongoing projects and resolve contractual issues with clients.
• Prepare shop drawings, master programme, method statements and tender interview documents.
• Maintain proper tender and project documentation.
• Handle other assigned duties as required.
