Job summary

DELCO ART INTERIOR PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a dedicated Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to support project financials from planning to tender submissions. You will analyze drawings, prepare BOQs, and estimate quantities and costs with accuracy.

The role requires strong budgeting skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience in construction estimating. You will coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure budgets and schedules align with client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction engineering, management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of general construction estimating experience or related field.
• Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural plans and prepare Bill of Quantity (BOQ).
• Estimate quantity and costs of projects from client drawings and details.
• Review or prepare tender documents for submissions.
• Track changes in plans or constructions and update budgets.
• Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors.
• Document progress, materials, and changes in contracts.
• Source materials and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and subcontractors.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction engineering, management, or related field
• 1-3 years of general construction estimating experience, financial experience, construction experience, or related field
• Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to analyze financial records and apply data to improved results
• Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports
• Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets; strong estimating and financial analysis skills
• In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry
