Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, contract administration, and variation claims within Main Contracts.

You will prepare cost comparisons, coordinate with Consultants and Subcontractors, and verify material quantities, while applying Singapore building regulations and using CostX and SMM7.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 2–3 years as a Quantity Surveyor in building construction (Singapore preferred).
• 5–7 years experience for Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Proficiency in CostX, SMM7 and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Submit Main Contracts Progress claims with approval from Senior Contracts Manager/Contracts Manager/Project Manager.
• Assist on contractual matters, variation claims and EOT claims.
• Call for quotations and prepare cost comparisons for review.
• Liaise with Consultants Quantity Surveyor on discrepancies in contract documents and disputes with Subcontractors.
• Check quantity status of material stock, main contracts progress claims, and payment claims of subcontractors, suppliers and vendors.
• Determine quantities of materials required and for ordering purposes.
• Prepare Subcontractors and Vendors final accounts.
• Work with Senior Managers to prepare contract documents for Main Contracts and Subcontracts.
• Compile petty cash claims and submit to HR for approval and payment.

• Assist the Project Manager I Senior Contracts Mgr I Contracts Mgr on contractual matters, variation claims and EOT claims.
• To call for quotation and prepare cost comparison for the Project Manager I Senior Contracts Mgr I Contracts Mgr review.
• To assist the Senior Contracts Mgr I Contracts Mgr to liaise with the Consultants Quantity Surveyor on discrepancies in the contract documents, and on dispute with the Subcontractors.
• In charge of checking the quantity status of material stock, Main Contracts Progress Claims and payment claims of sub-contractors, suppliers and vendors.
• Determining the quantities of materials required and for ordering purposes.
• Prepare Subcontractors and vendors final account.
• Work with Senior Contracts Mgr I Contracts Mgr to prepare contract document for Main Contracts and Subcontracts.
• Compile all petty cash claims and submit to the HR department for approval and payment

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Engineering).
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the building construction industry (preferably in Singapore) and minimum 5-7 years of experience for Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Strong understanding of construction estimating methods, cost control principles, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., SMM7, CostX) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of Singapore building regulations and contract forms
