Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee submission of Main Contract progress, variation, and EOT claims.
• Lead negotiation of subcontract agreements and final accounts.

• Resolve contractual disputes with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Manage cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control for construction projects.

• Prepare detailed cost comparisons and procurement recommendations for review by senior management.

• Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets.

• Lead the preparation and submission of variation orders, claims, and EOT requests.

• Ensure all claims are supported by accurate documentation and comply with contract terms.

• Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including cost forecasts and cash flow projections.

• Maintain accurate records of contracts, claims, and procurement activities.

• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and clients on contractual and financial matters.

• Ensure compliance with Singapore building regulations, contract forms, and company policies.

• Identify and mitigate financial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements :

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably with an A1 main contractor in Singapore.

• Advanced knowledge of construction estimating methods, cost control principles, and procurement processes.

• Proficiency in quantity surveying software

• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to lead teams under tight deadline.
